Take 1: Self Recorded Sessions – How Our Self-Recording Systems Saves Money and Time
This presentation will describe the benefits of learners recording their own simulations at Cedar Crest College’s School of Nursing. The Cedar Crest team will discuss the benefits to students, faculty, and simulation center staff. Topics to be covered: ease of use, availability, remote access, student autonomy and overcoming the challenges and obstacles involved with self-recording, as well as faculty and student feedback, data, photos, and video of the system.

The speakers were knowledgeable and able to provide great information. It presented an idea in a way I hadn’t really considered and made me more likely to keep it as an option for the students.
Learnt a new way in simulation to assess student competence that is less faculty labor intensive. It was very informative & new ideas to contemplate for our center. Our university will consider the possibility of self-recording in the future.
