Wanda Goranson is the Simulation Education Manager for the Dorner – Villeneuve Simulation Education Center at UnityPoint Health in Des Moines, Iowa. The Clinical Simulation Education program was launched in 2009 and is part of the Clinical Professional Development Department.

The Unity Point team designed the escape room activity to facilitate individual and team learning to incorporate patient safety measures, prevent medication errors, demonstrate evidence-based practice, and integrate peer review.
