Addressing these inequities requires preparing future healthcare professionals through meaningful disability-focused education.<\/p><p>Drawing on lived experience and patient stories, this presentation will illustrate how disability-focused learning experiences were developed and integrated into a medical school curriculum in partnership with a simulation center. Participants will explore approaches that engage people with disabilities as educators and provide learners with practical experience through patient interviews, safe transfer training, and other experiential activities.<\/p><p>By integrating lived experience with simulation-based education, health professions programs can help learners develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to
